frequently asked questions
subscriptions are managed through your apple id. to cancel:
- open the settings app on your iphone
- tap your name at the top
- tap "subscriptions"
- tap "sera"
- tap "cancel subscription"
you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
if you bought sera premium or a subscription on another device:
- open sera
- tap the settings icon (top right)
- select "restore purchases"
- your purchase will be restored automatically
make sure you're signed in with the same apple id you used to purchase.
all purchases go through apple's app store, so you can use any payment method linked to your apple id — credit cards, debit cards, apple pay, or app store credit.
sera doesn't create accounts — all your photos stay on your device and in your icloud. to delete everything:
- delete any photos you took with sera from your photo library
- delete the sera app from your iphone
that's it. we don't store your photos on our servers.
make sure sera has permission to access your photo library:
- open the settings app
- scroll down and tap "sera"
- tap "photos"
- select "all photos" or "add photos only"
sera is currently only available for iphone. we designed it specifically for the iphone camera experience. no plans for ipad or android right now, but never say never!
sera works on iphone running ios 15 or later. we recommend keeping your phone updated to the latest ios version for the best experience.
